Privacy Policy

Quill stores account information from Clerk, business profile details you enter, client contact details, quote content, quote status history, public quote response notes, and acceptance attribution including typed acceptor name, IP address, browser user agent, and timestamp.

When you use AI quote generation, the job description and relevant business profile context are sent to OpenAI so a draft quote can be generated. You should review every generated quote before sending it.

We use your data to authenticate users, save clients and quotes, generate editable quote drafts, render PDFs, send quote emails, show public quote pages, and notify you when a client responds.

Quill does not sell customer data. The beta does not include advertising, data brokerage, or a self-serve billing system.

Quill currently depends on Clerk for authentication, Convex for application data, OpenAI for AI quote drafting, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting and scheduled tasks.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver the product features they support.

Sent quotes can be viewed through unguessable public links so clients can review, download, accept, decline, or request changes without creating an account.

Public quote pages are intended for the recipient and people they choose to share the link with. Do not include information in a quote that should not be visible to the client.

Quill provides authenticated account-data exports and deletes workspace data after a verified Clerk account-deletion webhook. Production backup retention, billing controls, team roles, and formal compliance programs are still being completed.

For privacy questions, data correction, or deletion requests, use the support/contact page and include the email address tied to your Quill account.
